Job Responsibility:
POSITION GOAL:
- Creates, publishes, and monitors Engineering reports through PowerBi, ensuring that it is modeled by a common data structure that satisfies the functional requirements of the area, and supports overall business objectives.
- Supports the optimization of business systems internal to Engineering and as affected, cross functionally through the process of continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates, maintains and publishes Engineering PowerBi business reports.
- Develops, maintains and improves Engineering SharePoint sites and Visual Studio programs. Responsible for the training of affected personnel.
- Participates in and supports Engineering process improvement projects, system upgrades and modifications, to ensure continuity of data integrity, and optimal use of system functionality,
- Analyze and identify departmental business system processes for improved automation and reporting.
- Incorporate automation into Engineering business systems data collection for reporting purposes
- Creates and maintains process documents pertaining to the creation and maintenance of PowerBi reports, SharePoint sites, Visual Studio programs, etc.
Requirements
- Degree / diploma in a related business systems discipline
- 2-3 years' experience in data analysis/report development.
- Experience in the design/development of SharePoint sites, PowerBi reports, Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Power Query
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Travel Requirement: Less than 5% of the time.
