Job Responsibility:
Canuel Caterers is a food and beverage company offering food service in education, corporate catering, corporate dining, meal programs, and sport and entertainment services. We are an established company with 30 years of growth and counting.
We are currently looking for a Chef de partie to join our team. Our team is led by our Corporate Chef David D. Tremblay in our catering commissary kitchen. This is a food production and meal program kitchen, we are offering 40 hours/week. Shifts are mainly in between Sunday to Friday from 6AM to 8PM, always 2 day on together and usually 8 hours shift only, overtime is paid . Responsibilities include:
meal program;
-supervision of 6 team member to accomplish meal program, some hot and cold day ranging from 250 - 700 meals a day.
-executing weekly agenda for prep and execution of meal packaging with help of sous chef.
-precise monitoring of prep level accordingly to numbers, and efficient reuse of extra product.
Large scale production;
-we have our own brand of production to serve our school cafeteria and corporate location in large scale, we do our own meatloaf, meat sauce, chili, shepherds pie, lasagna and many others.
-executing the production prep list according to orders from our warehouse, ensuring quality and yield of production recipe.
Requirements:Cooking ExperienceFood Safe CertificateClass 5 Driver's License would be an asset
