QA Manager / IT Test Manager / IT Test Project Manager
Duration: Contract (1 year + potential to extend)
Location: Toronto, ON (3-4 days in office) – Onsite
Shift/Core Hours: 37.5 Hours
Compensation: $75-$80/hour
Interview: 2 rounds - 1st - In person and video
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Responsible for development and execution of testing strategies utilizing various software deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Work with Development and other internal teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved; ensures adherence to defined testing quality standards.
- Hybrid role - Test and project manager.
Must-haves/Key skills needed
- Communication is key.
- Reporting is key - status reporting, holding meetings, PowerPoint presentation.
- Project Management background (managing QA projects) / coordinating testing.
- Experience running large programs with solid Agile experience and knowledge.
- 3-5 years of experience – ALM, Q Test, Jira, Confluence.
- Knowledge of Automation testing.
- Solid knowledge of testing best practices and all phases of testing.
- HP ALM and Jira are a must.
- Build dashboards.
- Produce reports.
- Connectivity, traceability.
Pluses

- Financial or banking background.
- Scrum Master Certified.
- Experience managing teams, programs, coordinating with multiple internal and external applications.
