Job Title:   MIG Welder

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring for MIG Welders for our client in Concord, Ontario. The ideal candidates will have solid experience operating  Hand and Power tools in a production setting.

Full-Time: Monday to Friday Shifts:

• 6:30AM to 3:00PM ( can be flexible for later start time )
• 2:30PM to 10:00PM

Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MIG welds on sheet metal materials in accordance with blueprint specifications
• Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment
• Safely and effectively operate hand, air, and power tools for metal preparation, grinding, and finishing
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity, alignment, and quality standards
• Assist with general production, fabrication, and manufacturing assembly duties
• Lift, position, and move raw materials and components weighing approximately 50–60 lbs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized welding station and work area
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including wearing required PPE (welding helmet, leather gloves, safety glasses)
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and project deadlines
• Perform other general shop and labour duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic experience with MIG welding processes and techniques, particularly on sheet metal
• Solid track record of operating hand, air, and power tools safely (grinders, metal shears, clamps)
• Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings or blueprints
• Physical capability to lift and maneuver materials weighing 50–60 lbs regularly
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or general production environment
• Counterbalance forklift experience or certification is an asset, but not required
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment

Successful candidates will receive approximately 2–3 weeks of training to learn the processes and

requirements of the role.
