POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated October 26, 2026 up to May 28, 2027)

ABOUT THE TEAM
Corporate Solutions partners with industry, government, Indigenous communities, and organizations to deliver customized training and workforce development solutions. Through a client-focused approach, the team works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality training programs that help organizations address evolving workforce and skills needs

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects related to industry, government, and community training and programming needs within RRC Polytech’s Corporate Solutions department. The successful candidate will join a flexible and responsive team committed to implementing agile project management processes to deliver customized training solutions. In this fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate must be adept at leading multiple projects simultaneously, establishing project budgets, and supporting colleagues.  You have strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, clients, and stakeholders. A balance of attention to detail and keeping on schedule is essential. You have solid problem-solving skills and a strong desire to grow your skills and knowledge. You want to have a high impact and to drive innovation forward in collaborative environments. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• A Diploma in Project Management, Business, Human Resources, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Knowledge of the project life cycle and several years of experience coordinating multiple projects from start to end of the project life cycle, maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, and associated documentation
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
• Demonstrated service excellence by responding efficiently and effectively to Stakeholder needs
• Collaborative in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, with experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships
• Experience with budget management, including experience with project budgets, projections, and project reconciliation
• Initiative to monitor and supervise current projects, coordinate, follow up, and support all team members to keep the workflow on track
• Ability to assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

NICE TO HAVE

• Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to adopt new technologies
• Ability to use AI tools to gather, analyze, and report data
• Experience working with Indigenous communities
• Experience working in multiple sectors and locations: public, private, small business, non-profit
• Open to identifying Business Development opportunities that bring in new projects
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (ex. D2L)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and Outlook) and able to adapt to new technologies

• Salary Range for this position:  $59,924 - $84,505 per annum
• Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
• December Break: employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day
