Valuation Specialist

Job Responsibility:

Pennock Acheson Nielsen Devaney LLP is looking for an experienced and team-oriented Valuation Specialist. The Valuation Specialist will be responsible for providing business valuation and transaction advisory services to a variety of clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation of business valuations, due diligence assignments and financial analysis in respect to transactions, reorganizations, disputes and tax filings.
• Consult with clients, client's counsel, and representatives of companies to obtain necessary information
• Analyzing and interpreting clients' financial and non-financial information
• Objectively identify risks and opportunities that drive value for the client
• Conduct related industry research
• Obtain a basic understanding of our clients' businesses and learn their best practices
• Advising on solution focused recommendations to clients
• Represent PAND at networking and industry events to leverage new business development

Education & Experience

• CPA designation
• CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV designation
• Minimum 3 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm
• Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations and financial models
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and legal documents in a financial environment
• Experience leading and mentoring staff
