Arctic Star Printing is seeking an energetic, motivated, confident, and outgoing Production scheduler with a strong focus on customer service, must be comfortable in a busy environment.
Full-time position. Includes benefits available upon completion of probationary period. Starting wage dependent on experience.
Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week.
Job Description
The Production scheduler will principally be responsible for order entry, order scheduling, stock purchasing, and customer communications. Additional responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, and answering phones.
Job Duties
- Compile orders and instructions received from customers
- Track and complete work orders
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Perform routine clerical duties
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Light cleaning duties
- Maintain work records and logs
- Perform general office duties
- Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
- Monitor production progress
- Provide customer service
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Follow-up on issues with work orders
- Organize and maintain inventory
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English
- Experience working with computers, microsoft windows + office, and Adobe
- Ability to work in a team environment
