About Us

Our projects are diverse and include, geotechnical/civil engineering, QA/QC construction monitoring, drill monitoring, geo- environmental monitoring, site investigations, foundation inspections, and soil and concrete lab testing. We work across different industries including open-pit mining environments and vital municipal work sites.

Currently, we are looking to hire individuals to perform Soil and Concrete QA/QC monitoring on many differing mining, heavy civil, and municipal projects. Responsibilities will include:

• Quality control, quality assurance, and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.
• Driving in active mining environments and interacting with heavy equipment.
• Communicating effectively via two-way radio systems.
• Conducting field inspections and testing, including soil testing, earthwork, and concrete testing, to ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Monitoring, documenting, and verifying that the construction activities achieve design specifications.
• Coordinating with project team members, including engineers and operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participating in local and remote fieldwork, with shifts of up to 12 hours per day/night.
• Building, promoting, and maintaining client relationships.
• Pay rate will be $31.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on work experience

What We Seek

We're looking for individuals with:

• A degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Geosciences, or Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and /or field experience.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• A valid driver's license and a driver's abstract in good standing.
• Individuals who can complete physical field work and pass a fitness-for-work test.
• Individuals who can work in safety-sensitive environments and can meet drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Individuals who want to learn, share, and grow themselves and the business.
• Individuals with a construction or warehouse background may be considered.

Additional Assets

• Experience in a technical field-based role is an asset, as is experience in the civil construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in off-road 4x4 driving and winter conditions.
• BSO/CSO, H2S & CCIL certification.
• Membership with ASET or APEGA is considered an additional advantage.
