Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at HQ Restaurant and Bar. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing delicious meals that embody our commitment to quality and home-style cooking. Your culinary expertise will help us create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Adapt recipes and menu items based on seasonal ingredients or guest preferences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent culinary skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
