Senior SQL Data Analytics Specialist

Use SQL and Power BI to shape operational and analytical data solutions for Student Services in downtown Toronto. This initial six-month contract may be extended.
Our professional services client seeks a Data and Analytics Specialist to build datasets, queries, visualizations, KPIs, dashboards, and reports. The work supports project, day-to-day, and ad hoc business needs across Student Services. You will navigate legacy and new education-program data sources while maintaining reporting continuity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build operational and analytical datasets, queries, dashboards, and reports
- Maintain reporting across current and new Education Programs
- Apply testing, analysis, validation, and documentation best practices
- Translate business requirements into reporting and analytics deliverables
- Document processes, source systems, data sources, and solutions
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred
- Five-plus years programming SQL and building database objects
- Experience with data warehousing or DataMart development preferred
- Five-plus years using Power BI Report Builder
- Three-plus years with Databricks or equivalent tools
Apply SQL, Power BI, Databricks, and analytical rigor to strengthen accurate reporting for Student Services in Toronto.
