Job Responsibility:
Job Summary The Shop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the shop environment. This position is responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality control. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on production quality and waste reduction to drive shop performance.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of shop personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory levels, including pricing and market analysis to optimize sales.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in flashing production, machine matienence, and work flow.
- Implement effective organizational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor operator performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a flashing shop environment is preferred.
- Experience with multiple brake forming and roll forming processes are an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development.
- Proficient in administrative tasks related to work flow and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team interaction.
- Experience with a forklift is advantageous.
This position requires a proactive individual who can lead by example while ensuring operational excellence within the shop.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
