Hiring a Host(ess) for Parlour Yaletown

Parlour is looking for a  confident, charismatic, and hospitality-driven Host / Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

By day, you’ll be the welcoming face of the restaurant. As the night goes on, the energy shifts — weekends at Parlour bring a lively late-night atmosphere, bottle service, celebrations, and a crowd looking to have a great night. We’re looking for someone who can match that energy while keeping the guest experience polished, organized, and welcoming.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first and last impression for our guests, delivering warm and genuine hospitality

• Manage reservations, waitlists, seating, and guest flow throughout the evening

• Welcome and interact with guests in a confident, upbeat, and professional manner

• Help create an exciting atmosphere during our late-night weekend service

• Support our bottle service and VIP experience, ensuring guests feel looked after from arrival through the night

• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, managers, security, and the rest of the front-of-house team

• Answer phones and manage guest inquiries with professionalism

• Assist with special occasions, celebrations, VIP guests, and large groups

• Maintain an organized and polished host stand and entrance throughout service

• Handle guest requests and concerns with discretion and a solutions-focused attitude

• Jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver a seamless service

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant, nightlife, hosting, or guest-service experience is an asset

• Naturally outgoing, personable, and comfortable talking to all types of guests

• Confident in a high-energy, late-night environment

• Professional, polished, and able to maintain composure during busy service

• Strong communication and multitasking skills

• Highly organized with great attention to detail

• Comfortable interacting with VIPs and high-volume weekend crowds

• A genuine interest in hospitality, nightlife, and creating memorable guest experiences

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Flexible availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays
