We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales and financial services teams to new heights.
The Role
As the General Sales Manager, you will serve as the engine of our showroom floor. You will direct daily sales operations, optimize inventory turnover, drive profitability across sales and F&I, and maintain our reputation for outstanding customer experience.
You will directly lead and mentor a high-performing team consisting of:
8 Sales Consultants
3 Financial Services Managers
1 Credit Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 12 sales and finance professionals on a fast-paced, dynamic showroom floor. Maintain our award-winning dealership culture and foster high team morale.
Sales Floor Management: Desk deals, manage floor traffic, close sales, and ensure active follow-up on all leads using our CRM.
Financial & F&I Performance: Work directly with the 3 Financial Services Managers and Credit Specialist to maximize F&I penetration, product presentation and lender relationships
Inventory & Dealership Operations: Partner with senior management to manage inventory mix, pricing, trade-in valuations, and wholesale operations.
Performance & Accountability: Establish daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team; conduct regular 1-on-1 performance reviews and ongoing training.
Customer Experience: Actively resolve customer concerns, jump into sales interactions to assist, and maintain peak CSI scores across all departments.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Automotive Leadership: Minimum 3+ years of successful experience as a Sales Manager, F&I Manager, or GSM in a high-volume franchise dealership.
F&I & Subprime Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial products, prime/subprime deal structuring, and working directly with credit specialists and financial managers.
High Energy & Presence: Thrives on a busy showroom floor, leads by example, and actively engages with staff and customers throughout the day.
Coach & Mentor Mindset: Passionate about developing salespeople, building confidence, and driving team success over individual ego.
Tech & CRM Savvy: Strong command of modern automotive CRM systems, inventory management software, and digital retail tools.
