Berezan Hospitality Group is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Coquitlam liquor store. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the Store Manager to create a welcoming shopping experience, support a high-performing team, and ensure the store operates efficiently every day.

What You'll Do
- Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations.
- Lead, coach, and support team members to provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.
- Maintain attractive merchandising and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
- Support inventory management, product ordering, and stock control.
- Help execute promotional displays and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
- Monitor operational standards and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Assist with scheduling, store performance, and achieving sales and financial objectives.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience working in a liquor store is strongly preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail environment.
- A strong understanding of exceptional customer service.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- The ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer and administrative tasks.
- A commitment to following all liquor laws, regulations, and company policies.
What We Offer
- Annual salary of $52,000–$54,000 , depending on experience.
- Bi-annual bonus opportunity.
