Berezan Hospitality Group is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Coquitlam liquor store. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the Store Manager to create a welcoming shopping experience, support a high-performing team, and ensure the store operates efficiently every day.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations.
• Lead, coach, and support team members to provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
• Support inventory management, product ordering, and stock control.
• Help execute promotional displays and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
• Monitor operational standards and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Assist with scheduling, store performance, and achieving sales and financial objectives.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience working in a liquor store is strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail environment.
• A strong understanding of exceptional customer service.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• The ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer and administrative tasks.
• A commitment to following all liquor laws, regulations, and company policies.

What We Offer

• Annual salary of $52,000–$54,000 , depending on experience.
