Gft Wastewater Process Engineer Role Toronto
GFT]
Join GFT's mission as a Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer in a hybrid capacity from Toronto, Mississauga, or Ottawa. Drive sustainability and creative engineering solutions for water management. In this pivotal role, you will develop and oversee designs for various municipal projects, from sewage pumping stations to treatment plants.
Your ability to collaborate with municipal authorities and clients will be crucial to ensure all regulatory approvals are met. You'll also manage project budgets and schedules, alongside performing quality control and mentoring duties for junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities Design and prepare documents for municipal water infrastructure projects
Coordinate with stakeholders for project approvals
Liaise with clients to facilitate project progression
Manage scope, budget, and staff assignments
Conduct quality assurance on all projects
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
P.Eng. designation from P.E.O.
At least 4 years in water/wastewater infrastructure
Commitment to ethical and sustainable practices
Experience in Ontario’s regulatory landscape preferred
