Senior User Experience Designer Needed (Winnipeg)

Drive digital transformation at the University of Toronto Scarborough as a Senior User Experience Designer. Utilize your expertise in user testing and web design standards to create impactful solutions.
Reporting directly to the Web and Digital Technology Manager, you will identify user needs and propose enhancements for IITS websites. Your five years of experience in UX research will be pivotal in conducting usability tests and analyzing feedback to improve digital platforms. Collaborate with different teams to ensure adherence to design standards and usability best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute usability testing on various applications
- Ensure programming solutions meet industry best practices
- Establish visual design standards for digital platforms
- Analyze and recommend solutions for complex IT challenges
- Develop comprehensive project timelines and milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years in UX design and research
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proven experience with UX testing and evaluation
- Robust initiative and excellent communication skills
