Journeyperson Industrial Electrician

Our electrical division is busy. We have a significant backlog of industrial work, and we need an experienced Journeyman Electrician who can hit the ground running, work independently, and help guide our apprentices.

The Details
Location: Primary site is NW Edmonton. Occasional travel to Nisku or local Oil & Gas sites may be required.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 07:30 AM – 4:00 PM. (Home in time for dinner).
Terms: Full-Time / Permanent. We have a deep pipeline of work; we are looking for someone who wants to stick around and grow with the team.
Timeline: Looking to onboard within the next two weeks.
Wage: $38.00 – $40.00/hour

Responsibilities
Commercial & Light Industrial Work: Leading preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and new installations primarily in commercial and light industrial environments.

Cable Pulls & Terminations: Executing efficient cable pulls (conduit and tray) and performing clean, accurate terminations to ensure absolute system integrity.

Equipment Operation: Safely operating elevated work platforms, specifically JLG boom lifts (not just scissor lifts).

Mentorship: Leading by example and providing direction to our apprentice electricians.

Independence: Reading prints, planning your materials, and troubleshooting on the fly to keep the project moving forward.

Qualifications
Certified: Valid Journeyperson Electrician Ticket (Alberta recognized or Interprovincial Red Seal).

Relevant Experience: Proven background in commercial maintenance and light industrial environments.

Reliability: You treat the schedule with respect—showing up on time, ready to work, every day.

Safety First: Uncompromising commitment to site safety protocols, hazard assessments, and safe work practices.
