This role is essential to our success, supporting skilled tradespeople on major projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation sectors.

5. Stable Work: We offer a full-time, permanent position with a standard 44-hour week (schedules may vary, e.g., 4x10s) and overtime paid as per Alberta standards.

What You'll Accomplish On-Site

1. Support skilled trades (carpenters, masons, operators) with their duties.

2. Assist with fabricating, erecting, and stripping concrete forms, bracing, and shoring.

3. Help with placing and tying rebar.

4. Assist with concrete placement, consolidation, and finishing.

5. Perform general site duties: cleanup, housekeeping, excavations, material handling, and tool maintenance.

6. Operate hand tools, power tools, plate tampers, and jackhammers as directed.

7. Actively participate in all safety meetings (toolbox talks, hazard assessments) and adhere to all site safety procedures.

8. Ensure quality in all tasks and support the team in maintaining project standards.

Our Ideal Candidate Has...

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a skilled labourer on industrial or heavy commercial construction sites.

2. Experience supporting concrete formwork is a significant asset.

3. Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings is an asset.

4. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment common to concrete and civil construction.

5. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform strenuous labour, and work in various field conditions.

6. A strong, proven commitment to working safely.

7. Reliable, dependable, and a strong team player.

8. Good communication skills.

1. Valid Confined Space Entry & Monitor

2. CSTS 2020

3. WHIMIS Certificate within the last 3 years

1. Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-2020) or Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

3. WHMIS 2015

4. Ground Disturbance Level II

5. Fall Protection

The Role & Requirements

1. This is a physically demanding role requiring climbing, lifting, kneeling, balancing, walking, stooping, and crouching.

2. Work occurs outdoors in various weather conditions.

3. Must be able to meet all client site access requirements, which may include pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

4. Pay is processed via biweekly direct deposit.

5. Reimbursement for pre-approved expenses will be provided with receipts.
