Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to design, develop, customize, and support CRM solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating technical specifications into working, tested CRM applications while supporting the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, reporting, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested CRM applications.
  


• Develop detailed programming specifications and write and/or generate code.
  


• Compile data-driven programs and conduct unit testing.
  


• Maintain CRM applications and ensure continued operational effectiveness.
  


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during the use and operation of software solutions.
  


• Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaborate with IT professionals.
  


• Design, develop, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain applications.
  


• Work with application design patterns, deployment methodologies, and troubleshooting practices.
  


• Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  


• Review, analyze, test, debug, and modify installation scripts.
  


• Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
  


• Provide post-implementation support and technical issue resolution.
  


• Develop user and system documentation as required.
  


• Create CRM reports, Power BI reports, and CRM Word templates.
  


• Integrate CRM solutions with enterprise systems through APIs.

• Experience in programming and analysis, including CRM software package support.
  


• Experience in structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
  


• Experience using object-oriented and/or third-generation development tools.

• Knowledge of Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.
  


• Understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
  


• Experience reviewing and modifying installation scripts.
  


• Ability to resolve post-implementation issues and provide ongoing support.
  


• Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requirements and related standards.
  


• Ability to develop system and user documentation.

Experience (30%)

• Experience customizing Dynamics CRM entities, forms, views, reports, ribbons, menus, and dashboards.
  


• Experience building Dynamics CRM workflows, plug-ins, and complex Microsoft Power Automate flows.
  


• Experience customizing Dynamics using C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
  


• Expert knowledge of Dynamics CRM SDK, Web API, Organization Services, OData Standards, FetchXML, and XRM Toolbox.
  


• Experience building custom portals using ASP.NET, .NET Core, AngularJS, TypeScript, Azure App Services, Web Jobs, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps integrated with Dynamics CRM Online.
  


• Experience creating complex Power BI reports using Dynamics CRM Online data.
  


• Expertise with Power Apps and Power Pages customization.
  


• Knowledge of cloud security principles related to CRM platforms, including identity management and role-based access controls.
  

Technical Skills (40%)

• Experience working in Agile environments.
  


• Experience with Dynamics 365 and Azure solution design.
  


• Knowledge of Dynamics interoperability and integration with Microsoft cloud technologies.
  


• Experience with marketing automation tools and customer journey analytics.
  


• Experience with both low-code and custom development approaches within Dynamics 365.
  


• Knowledge of Dataverse design and development.
  


• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
  


• Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
  


• Experience with DevOps practices, task boards, and CI/CD pipelines.
  

Reporting & Integration (20%)

• Experience creating Dynamics CRM reports, Power BI reports, and CRM Word templates.
  


• Proven CRM development experience with strong reporting and analytics capabilities.
  


• Strong understanding of SQL, CRM APIs, data visualization, and reporting tools.
  


• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
  


• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  


• Experience integrating CRM platforms with enterprise systems through APIs.
  

Communication Skills (10%)

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Ability to prepare technical documentation, solution documentation, user manuals, reports, reviews, and assessments.
  


• Ability to present ideas and recommendations in a clear, user-friendly manner.
  


• Strong customer service skills supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
  


• Ability to communicate technical designs and development approaches effectively.
  

Must Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering and leading Dynamics CRM projects.
  


• Experience customizing Dynamics CRM entities, forms, views, reports, ribbons, menus, and dashboards.
  


• Experience building Dynamics CRM workflows, plug-ins, and complex Microsoft Power Automate flows.
  


• Experience customizing Dynamics using C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
  


• Expertise in Power Apps and Power Pages customization.
  


• Experience integrating CRM APIs with enterprise systems.
