Gère et met en œuvre des produits et services d’apprentissage et de développement pour les employés de FedEx, sous la coordination de FedEx University, à l’appui de la stratégie de formation globale de l’entreprise. Responsable de la supervision de tous les employés de l’établissement reçoivent la formation nécessaire pour accomplir efficacement leur travail
Manage and implements learning and development products and services to FedEx employees as coordinated by the University in support of the Company’s overall training strategy. Responsible for overseeing all facility employees receive training needed to effectively complete their jobs
FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES
- Les responsabilités de gestion comprennent, entre autres : l’embauche, les congédiements, le coaching, la formation, la reconnaissance, les récompenses, l’évaluation et la gestion de la performance, la discipline, le traitement des préoccupations des employés et la productivité du personnel.
- Gère le programme et l’expérience de formation, supervise l’apprentissage continu et la formation au quai de tous les employés, et sert de point de contact pour la formation sur le terrain au sein de l’établissement.
- Fournit une formation et un encadrement de suivi aux gestionnaires des opérations, aux manutentionnaires de colis et aux subordonnés directs pour assurer la cohérence de la prestation et la qualité des programmes de formation au sein du centre de tri.
- Consulte le directeur principal ou l’assistant directeur du centre de tri pour déterminer les lacunes de formation individuelles et collabore sur les opportunités de développement. Exécute les plans d’apprentissage en coordination avec la haute direction du centre de tri.
- Assure la livraison en temps opportun des programmes de formation nouveaux et existants.
- Coordonne avec le spécialiste régional de l’apprentissage pour la planification, l’organisation et le soutien aux événements d’apprentissage régionaux, de district et locaux, y compris des cours tels que l’intégration des gestionnaires des opérations et tout cours ad hoc si nécessaire.
- Effectue des observations au niveau du centre de tri et des évaluations de programmes de formation. Fournit du coaching et des commentaires si nécessaire aux spécialistes de la formation, aux formateurs de manutentionnaires de colis et à la direction du centre de tri.
- Facilite les réunions hebdomadaires de l’équipe de rétention des manutentionnaires de colis.
- Effectue d’autres tâches assignées.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity.
- Manages the curriculum and training experience, supervising continuous learning and dock training of all employees, and serves as point of contact for field-based training within the facility.
- Provides training and follow-up coaching to Ops Managers, Package Handlers, and direct reports to ensure consistency in delivery and quality of training programs within the hub.
- Consults with hub Senior Manager or Assistant Manager to determine individual training gaps and collaborate on development opportunities. Executes learning plans in coordination with hub senior management.
- Ensures timely delivery of new and existing training programs.
- Coordinates with the Regional Learning Specialist on the planning, organization, and support for regional, district, local learning events to include courses such as the Operations Manager Onboarding and any adhoc courses as needed.
- Conducts hub level observations and training program evaluations. Provides coaching and feedback as needed to Training Specialists, Package Handler Trainers and Hub Management.
- Facilitates weekly Package Handler retention team meetings. Peforms other duties as assigned
Minimum Education
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business Management or related field preferred
Minimum Experience
- Two (2) years’ experience required in instructor-led training, field operations or related area.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Related training certifications preferred.
- Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team
- Demonstrated ability to build professional rapport, effectively lead a team and positively influence diverse groups.
- Proven ability to apply sound business judgment to establish and accomplish goals.
- Working knowledge of field operations and/or training principles.
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences and ability to effectively provide employees instruction on process and practice.
- Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
- Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple processes, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
