We are looking for a passionate Cook to join our food service team at Bombardier.

Enjoy a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, in a unionized environment with a comprehensive benefits package. The facility is closed for one week during the Christmas holidays, with paid time off, and any unused vacation entitlement is also paid out in accordance with the collective agreement.

POSITION : Cook

LOCATION:  Bombardier CA (400 Côte-Vertu Blvd. West, Dorval, QC H4S 1Y9)

WAGE: $20.86 per hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

START DATE:  Immediate Opening

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with daily menu preparation and catering orders
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Support catering food preparation and service
• Prepare meals for the hot food station
• Set up workstations with all required ingredients and equipment
• Monitor production processes and ensure product quality standards are met
• Ensure meal quality meets customer expectations and operational requirements
• Help optimize food and labor costs
• Participate in inventory control and stock counts
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintenance
• Respond effectively to operational needs as required

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Positive attitude
• Strong customer service focus

The pay range for this position is $20.86 - $20.86.
