Job Summary:

The Billing Coordinator will carry the responsibility of effectively auditing vendor invoices in accordance with the related service contracts and billing out the required charges on client invoices. What you will be doing:

• Audit vendor invoices
• Read and understand hauling service contracts
• Create client invoices at contracted pricing
• Answer billing-related questions from clients
• Work collaboratively with the Financial Controller, Billing Manager, and all other Waste Solutions Canada team members
• Various finance duties and ad hoc project work as needed

What we are looking for:

• Accounting-related degree or diploma and +1 year of equivalent experience preferred
• Experience working with CAD and USD is considered an asset
• Driven to maintain high standards in all tasks
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, shifting priorities on short notice
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Word, OneNote, etc.)
• Experience working in accounting software (Xero preferred)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
