About Our Client Our client is sourcing a SOX Consultant for a 12-month contract. About the Opportunity Planned and performed risk-based reviews of financial and operational processes. Evaluated internal controls and identified opportunities to strengthen governance and improve efficiency. Conducted control testing and documented results in accordance with established compliance frameworks. Assessed financial reporting processes and monitored adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Identified risks, developed recommendations, and tracked corrective actions through completion. Collaborated with internal stakeholders and external assurance providers to support audit activities. Participated in operational reviews, business process evaluations, and special projects. Supported compliance initiatives, fraud risk assessments, and governance programs. Performed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepared audit documentation, reports, and presentations for management. About You Professional accounting designation or equivalent experience. Several years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related assurance role. Knowledge of internal control frameworks, financial reporting, and risk management principles. Experience performing process reviews, control evaluations, and compliance testing. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial reporting or data analysis tools.
