Were currently hiring a skilled a precision CNC Machinist / Programmer with Tooling or EDM experience for a reputable custom Tool & Die shop in Guelph ON. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company known for precision quality and innovation in the tooling industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES of this Tool and Die Machinist Position
- Program set up and operate CNC equipment
- Plan machining processes including setups tooling and materials
- Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
- Machine components to tight tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs
- Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace
- Manage multiple projects and meet production deadlines
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding processes and workflows
EXPERIENCE required for this Machinist
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience
- Strong understanding of CNC setup and machining principles
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience working with tool steels or similar materials
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
