We are seeking a customer-oriented Money Market Confirmations and Settlements Officer for a maternity coverage 12-18 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the confirmation and settlement of money market transactions. This role requires a strong background in banking operations, particularly in settlements and clearing, along with exceptional customer service skills

Position: Money Market Settlement & Confirmation Officer

12 month contract with the possibility of extension

Work arrangement is currently 2 days in office and 3 at home/week. With possibility of moving to 4 days in office in the future, dependent on timelines.

Candidate will be working 2 different shifts bi-weekly. 9:00-5:30 and 10:30-7 EST.

Responsibilities
Verify and confirm money market transactions with counterparties to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.

Manage the settlement and clearing process for money market transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Liaise with internal departments and external counterparties to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to transactions.
Maintain accurate records of all confirmations and settlements for audit and reporting purposes.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Monitor and adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the confirmation and settlement operations.

Qualifications
Must-have Skills
Experience in a banking back office in a settlements or similar role 2-3 years.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar area of study.

Nice-to-have
4-5 years in banking operations in a settlements or similar role.
