**Part-Time PSW / Caregiver Needed – Markham** We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and organized PSW/caregiver to provide support for a 79-year-old gentleman living in Markham near McCowan Road and Bur Oak Avenue. He is mostly independent but is managing a serious heart condition and is looking for someone who can help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and comfortable home while providing dependable companionship and support.

• *This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with seniors and values kindness, patience, cleanliness, and attention to detail.**
• *Responsibilities include:**

• Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and maintaining an organized home
• Simple meal preparation and kitchen clean-up
• Grocery shopping and/or coordinating grocery deliveries
• Driving to medical appointments, errands, and occasional hospital visits
• Medication organization and refill reminders
• Basic household tasks such as refilling a humidifier and checking air purifier filters
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assisting with day-to-day organization and household management

**Requirements:**

• PSW, caregiver, senior companion, or related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving a client to appointments and errands
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Strong organizational and housekeeping skills
• Kind, patient, and compassionate personality
• Ability to remain calm during urgent or stressful situations
• References available upon request

**Preferred

• Experience preparing healthy meals for seniors
• Familiarity with North American, Mediterranean, European, Middle Eastern, or Japanese cuisine
• Basic computer skills, including email, internet searches, Microsoft Office, or AI tools

**Schedule:**

• Starting at approximately 2 days per week, 6 hours per day
• Potential to increase to 4–5 days per week for the right person
