Nanny Wanted - Live Out Nanny Needed In Markham 5 Year Old Autistic Boy

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Markham, Ontario (near Hwy 7 and Ninth Line), seeking a dedicated and caring live-out nanny to join our household. We have a 5-year-old son on the autism spectrum (ASD) who is affectionate, playful, and thrives in a calm, structured environment. Role Overview We are looking for someone who can provide a nurturing, stable, and attentive environment for our son. Responsibilities include:

• Engaging him in play and developmental activities (reading, interactive play, etc.)
• Assisting with daily routines, including diaper changes (not yet potty trained)
• Supporting emotional regulation during moments of dysregulation
• Ensuring a safe and supervised environment at all times

• Patient, calm, and positive personality (he responds well to warm and engaging caregivers)
• Experience with autism or special needs is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills (he is minimally verbal, so clear verbal and non-verbal communication is important)
• Fluent in English
• Minimal exposure to sickness during non-working hours

• Hours would be after school Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:30pm-8pm) and some time on weekends (if available).
