We are a family in Markham looking for a caring and reliable nanny to help look after our twin toddlers (almost 3 years old). This is a live-out, part-time position focused on both childcare and housekeeping. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. We are seeking someone with prior childcare experience, ideally with toddlers. The ability to reliably commute to our home is important — having a vehicle would be ideal, although Markham public transit is available. Flexibility is appreciated, as the schedule may occasionally shift — for example, helping earlier if a child is sick and unable to attend daycare, or assisting with outings such as medical appointments or playdates. Any changes would always be discussed in advance. At this time, we handle all meal preparation ourselves. For September and October we are looking for someone part time on Saturdays & Sundays 8 hour shifts, flexible on the hours between 8 am to 8 pm. This will shift to full time for the right person in November to include a combination of weekday and weekends. We are looking for assistance with childcare, taking them on outings with mom when dad is working and general housekeeping and tidying. We also require someone who is fully vaccinated and able to provide references and a background check.
