Job Summary :
As a Commercial & Residential Sales Representative, you’ll be an integral part of our team, managing client accounts, understanding their needs, recommending premium indoor/outdoor shading products and meeting their needs. You’ll focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing commercial & residential clients while actively seeking new opportunities to expand our customer base. You will play a key role in growing sales through consultative selling, product knowledge, and solution-based recommendations.

·         Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

·         Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

·         Schedule: Hybrid

·         Compensation: $50,000 + Commission (expected $60k+ / year)

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage with customers to generate and develop new sales opportunities through inbound web/phone leads, referrals, networking and outbound prospecting.
• Build relationships with residential and commercial clients, homeowners, architects, interior designers, contractors and other industry professionals.
• Conduct consultation and sales presentation to understand project needs and recommend customized outdoor shading structures (pergola, awning, etc.) and indoor shading products.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, present solutions and manage opportunities through the sales process.
• Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records and follow up with prospects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to support projects from initial inquiry through completion.
• Participate in showroom appointments, client location visits, meetings, network activities, and training sessions.
• Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on product & industry knowledge.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years selling building products, surfaces or furnishings in the GTA.
• Post-secondary education in business, sales, design, architecture, construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in any of the following industries will be considered an asset: home improvement, outdoor living, design, construction, architecture, landscaping, windows and doors, or building products.
• Customer service skills, ability to understand client needs and recommend customized solutions.
• Comfort working on-site with clients, including conducting measurements and assessments.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with effective time management abilities to meet deadlines.
• Experience with SketchUp or other 3D rendering software is considered an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to showroom and client locations in GTA.
