Retail File Maintenance

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Retail File Maintenance to support our operations, specifically in managing inventory data.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately create, update, and maintain product information in our database(s), including pricing, descriptions, SKUs, and inventory levels.
• Process and manage changes to product catalogs, promotions, and markdowns in a timely and precise manner.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date physical filing systems for relevant retail documents.
• Assist with data entry tasks related to sales, inventory, and other operational metrics.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies, escalating issues as needed.
• Generate reports on data accuracy and completeness as required.
• Collaborate with other retail teams, including merchandising, inventory, and sales, to ensure data alignment.
• Adhere to established data entry procedures and quality control standards.
• Assist with audits of data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Perform other administrative and file maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in data entry, file maintenance, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data errors.
