This is a contract position. Start date (September 1st, 2026). End date (December 1st, 2027).

We’re looking for a Day Porter to ensure our facilities remain spotless and presentable throughout the day. In this role, you’ll be responsible for cleaning high-traffic areas, responding to urgent maintenance needs, and providing excellent service to tenants and visitors.

What are expected of you?

• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces within facilities in accordance with Edon Management’s standards and facility contract requirements
• Work together with building operations team to achieve service objectives
• Back up Coverage of Front Reception when required.
• Ensure buildings are secure when the facility is not in use, reporting any unauthorized occupants
• Respond to urgent clean-up situations immediately
• Wash and polish entrance areas, including glass doors and other glass fixtures (display cabinets, etc.)
• Ensure interior and exterior waste receptacles are emptied as needed, including ashtrays and sand urns
• Assist with Loading Dock deliveries if Reception is busy.

Who we are looking for?

• Basic understanding of English (reading and writing)
• Previous custodial experience considered an asset
• Strong customer relations skills
• You take pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces with a keen eye for quality and thoroughness.
• You are dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
• You work well with others, follow instructions, and maintain positive interactions with clients and colleagues.
