Estimator for Municipal Infrastructure Projects

Join a dynamic team in Toronto as an Estimator focused on municipal wastewater and water infrastructure. This full-time, permanent role involves extensive collaboration and estimating expertise. Our general contractor client seeks an Intermediate Estimator for projects across Canada, operating from their Mississauga office. You'll prepare detailed cost estimates, engage with various stakeholders, and ensure effective project implementation. This role is essential for those looking to enhance their estimating capabilities in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings to analyze project requirements
- Select subcontractors and assess their costs
- Prepare complete takeoff for project estimates
- Advise on scope changes throughout the estimating process
- Communicate efficient construction methods to the team
- Minimum 5 years of estimating experience
- Proficiency with estimating software like B2W/HeavyBid
- Solid understanding of civil construction projects
- Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Mechanical process experience is beneficial
