Senior EHS Director for Aecon Projects

Join Aecon as a Senior EHS Director, leading safety on impactful infrastructure projects. Drive a culture of compliance and proactive engagement in collaborative environments. Aecon is looking for a seasoned EHS Director to manage Health, Safety, and Environmental performance in major transit and infrastructure assignments. Your role will report to the Project Director, and you'll be integral to ensuring EHS is seamlessly integrated throughout the project lifecycle. Engage with diverse stakeholders to cultivate a transparent safety culture and enhance compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct EHS functions for collaborative contracting projects
- Ensure integration of safety measures from project initiation
- Develop and maintain project-specific EHS frameworks
- Mentor EHS teams and promote safety engagement
- Lead investigations and data analysis for continuous improvement
- Over 15 years of EHS leadership experience
- Proven experience in collaborative project settings
- Deep knowledge of safety regulations and risk management
- Proficient in safety audits and assurance processes
- Related degree or professional certification is an asset
