Our client is sourcing a Finance Project Coordinator for a 24-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Supported the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities, milestones, and deliverables for a Finance Modernization project.
• Coordinated project meetings by managing logistics, preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
• Managed calendars, recurring meetings, and appointments while proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Maintained project documentation, reports, contracts, invoices, and other administrative records.
• Administered project governance documentation, including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs, decision logs, and audit trails.
• Monitored aging action items and followed up with stakeholders to ensure timely updates and resolution.
• Organized and maintained SharePoint sites, including document libraries, folder structures, permissions, and version control.
• Managed the project shared mailbox by reviewing, prioritizing, and responding to incoming communications.
• Supported monthly project communications and distributed updates to project stakeholders.
• Tracked team vacation and PTO schedules to support project resource planning.
• Coordinated purchase order requests, invoice validation, procurement documentation, and other project financial administration activities.
• Submitted administrative requests to support project resources, system access, and operational requirements.
• Updated project trackers, including IT assets, software licenses, and project status reports.
• Served as the primary liaison between the Project Manager, project team members, business stakeholders, and support teams to facilitate effective communication.
• Ensured project documentation, governance processes, and operational activities were maintained accurately and completed on schedule.

About You

• Experience supporting project coordination, project administration, or project management activities within cross-functional teams.
• Experience coordinating meetings, maintaining schedules, and supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Proven attention to detail in maintaining accurate project records, documentation, and governance artifacts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation, modernization, or enterprise-wide projects.
• Familiarity with project governance practices, including RAID logs, decision logs, document control, and audit documentation.
• Experience supporting financial administration, including purchase orders, invoice processing, and procurement coordination.
• Experience managing shared mailboxes, project collaboration sites, and document repositories.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
