Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

Position Overview:
As a valued member of our Housekeeping team, you will play an integral role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our entertainment and gaming complex. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cleaning equipment and creating a spotless and inviting environment to enhance the overall experience for our esteemed guests.

Schedule:  Full-time overnight Tuesday - Saturday 11:00pm - 7:00am 
Part-time, on-call for possible 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm -11:00pm, or 11:00pm-7:00am shifts (must be available
any day, including weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain all types of cleaning equipment

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming

• Responsible for cleaning walls, ceilings, lights, door frames and windows

• Responsible for cleaning restrooms, offices, poker tables and staff room

• Adhere to company’s health and safety policies

• Notify supervisors of any damages

• Communication Skills: Must be bilingual (French and English), with basic ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

• Capability to follow written instructions and manage basic record-keeping.

• Prior experience in Housekeeping is preferred. Especially in Hotel Housekeeping.

• Strength and Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as furniture (couches and tables), laundry bags, ladders and cleaning equipment.

• Endurance: Capability to move around for extended periods of time. Sometimes having to use a backpack vacuum for hours at a time.

• Capacity to easily bend, kneel, and reach in order to clean hard-to-reach areas.

• Reliability: Consistently showing up on time and completing tasks as required.

• Honesty: Trustworthiness, especially when working in private spaces.

• Initiative: Proactively identifying and addressing cleaning needs without being instructed.

• Positive Attitude: Maintaining a friendly and cooperative demeanor with clients and colleagues.

• Adaptability: Willingness to handle varied tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
