Senior Underwriter for CNA in Toronto

Elevate your career as a Senior Underwriter at CNA in Toronto, ON. This full-time position focuses on complex risk underwriting, broker negotiations, and market analysis. The position requires at least five years of experience, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of the Ontario market, particularly in Construction and Manufacturing sectors. Your expertise will be utilized as you prepare quotes while liaising with brokers and resolve underwriting issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze complex risk applications
- Determine pricing through competitive analysis
- Prepare quotes and respond to broker inquiries
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships
- Provide guidance to junior underwriters
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years in underwriting
- Advanced knowledge of underwriting practices
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
