Description Du Poste
Le préposé à la préparation des commandes de jour doit obtenir les listes de ramassage (la liste détaillée des produits nécessaires pour préparer les commandes) et leur attribuer une priorité selon l’ordre d’exécution. Pour ce faire, il doit récupérer les articles dans différents rayons du magasin pour exécuter rapidement les commandes et les emballer avec soin afin d’éviter qu’ils ne soient endommagés, pour ensuite étiqueter les commandes avec exactitude et les placer dans les aires d’entreposage désignées jusqu’à ce qu’elles quittent le magasin et soient chargées dans le camion. Le préposé à la préparation des commandes de jour fait partie de l’équipe du comptoir de services et doit donc être à l’aise d’effectuer des transactions de base ayant trait aux commandes clients, comme se charger des retours et des ventes au point de vente, répondre aux appels téléphoniques des clients et leur téléphoner, ainsi que consulter des commandes dans le système de gestion des commandes clients (GCC) ou des remarques dans le système.

Satisfaction de la clientèle
Respecter le modèle de service à la clientèle Passez à l’ACTion de Home Depot (accueillir le client, créer un lien et terminer par des remerciements).
Regrouper l’ensemble des produits pour traiter rapidement toutes les commandes en utilisant l’application «Exécution d’une commande».
Charger les véhicules de livraison et sortir les commandes de ramassage dans le stationnement selon les règlements de sécurité en vigueur.
Faire de la place pour entreposer les commandes en attendant qu’elles soient livrées.
Emballer et étiqueter les commandes avec soin pour éviter d’endommager les produits et prévenir tout dégât au cours du transport.
Maintien de la sécurité et de l’intégrité, et réduction des pertes
Respecter toutes les politiques et méthodes relatives à la sécurité et à la prévention des pertes.
Déplacer la marchandise de façon sécuritaire de la zone d’entreposage temporaire aux étagères supérieures, ou descendre la marchandise des étagères supérieures en utilisant l’équipement approprié

Utilisation des échelles: capacité à monter dans une échelle jusqu’à une hauteur de 3,5 à 5 m (12 à 16 pi) afin de retirer ou d’entreposer des marchandises.
Conditions De Travail
L’horaire est variable, comprend des quarts de nuit et peut comprendre des quarts de soir et de fin de semaine.
L’entrepôt peut être poussiéreux et bruyant.
Les chariots élévateurs produisent des émanations de gaz.
Les portes sont souvent ouvertes, ce qui peut causer des courants d’air et des changements de température à l’intérieur.
Études
Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent.
Expérience Professionnelle
Un ou deux ans d’expérience dans le secteur du commerce de détail ou de la distribution, un atout.
