Indigenous Student Project Assistant

Join Defence Construction Canada as an Indigenous Student Project Assistant in Montreal. This temporary hybrid role offers unique opportunities to contribute to projects for the Canadian Armed Forces and the Department of National Defence. DCC is looking for highly motivated Indigenous students for this four-month position. You will collaborate with experienced mentors, gaining valuable office and project management experience. Your role will involve documenting project processes, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities:

Research and prepare project documentation
Provide support for project and program initiation
Monitor contracts and check compliance
Coordinate analytical reporting and maintain documents
Support new construction and renovation projects

Requirements:

Strong judgment and positive attitude
Familiarity with Office software
Critical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Must be Indigenous and eligible to work in Canada
