• Review and understand design drawings and specifications.
• Maintain document tracking logs and Technical documentation via Microsoft Excel.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
• Data monitoring and interpretation for quality records.
• Write and develop Construction work method statements and job hazard analyses to be reviewed by the Senior Project Coordinator.
• Complete field measurements, construction layout, and verification of various Construction Activities.
• Perform regular quality inspections with the on‑site quality inspector and design engineer representative.
• Complete and fill out the quality inspection checklists on Aconex.
• Work closely with the Construction Superintendent and Foreman to provide on‑site assistance as required.
• Attend and complete meeting minutes notes for the various weekly subcontractor meetings.

About you

• Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering and enrolled in Civil Engineering 8–12‑month Co‑op Program from a recognized post‑secondary institution.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in scheduling.
• The ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies. Strong work ethic and highly motivated.
• Able to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings.
• Good problem‑solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in the field for much of the workday.
• Comfortable with Working at Heights.
