In this role, you will:
-Carry out environmental compliance monitoring activities.
-Conduct environmental site inspections.
-Assist in wildlife management activities and programs.
-Assist with environmental emergency response.
-Provide support during environmental events.
-Provide training and information to employees on environmental issues.
-environmental/radiation technician certificate or diploma;
-two to four years of relevant work experience;
-equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft;
-demonstrated field experience working in remote locations;
-proficiency with Microsoft Office products;
-valid firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL); and
-valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). Recommended:
-previous experience in basic equipment maintenance (snowmobile, outboard motor, all-terrain vehicle, ice auger, and chainsaw) and calibration of field instruments used in environmental sampling; and
-previous experience sampling or operating a potable water plant. Conditions of Employment:
