Grocery Clerk I (Deliveries)

Wild Rose Co-op is recruiting for a Grocery Clerk I to help with customer grocery deliveries in the City of Camrose!

What you'll do: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required):

• Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service
• Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department
• All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
• Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Camrose Food store
• Picking customer orders and delivering within Camrose City limits
• Operating Cashier till as needed
• Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses
• Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
• Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store's standards
• Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
• Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
• Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures

This position requires the use of computers, as well as heavy lifting of products up to 50 lbs.

Who you are:

You have previous experience in customer service is an asset. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Understanding of our Values (Teamwork, People, Excellence, Community)
• Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member-owners as well as internal customers
• Quality communication skills
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of navigating the City of Camrose an asset
• Must have a valid Class 5 licence and clean Driver's Abstract (candidate must consent to Wild Rose Co-op pulling a 3 year abstract as required to ensure eligibility to operate company vehicles)
• Must be able to pass a background check issued by the company
Must be capable of lifting heavy products up to 50 lbs, climbing flights of stairs etc.

This position will report to the Grocery Supervisor - Camrose Food.

This position is based on 24-40 hrs/week, based on operational needs. The successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
