The Canadian Race Relations Foundation
The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) was created in 1996 to reaffirm the principles of justice and equality for all in Canada. The CRRF's mandate is to facilitate throughout Canada the development, sharing, and application of knowledge and expertise to eliminate racism and all forms of racial discrimination in Canadian society.
The Partnerships Manager will design, develop and deliver impactful granting programs for CRRF. This role oversees the full grant lifecycle from drafting calls for proposals and receiving and assessing proposals to supporting the decision-making process for grants. The Partnerships Manager will develop and optimize granting processes, prepare progress and final reports, draft recommendations, ensure compliance with granting regulations, collaborate with the finance team on contracts and payments, and champion best practices by educating staff on granting policies and procedures. Salary
$81,177-$100,772 per annum. CRRF is a unionized workplace and the position and its salary are subject to a Collective Agreement.
CRRF offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes three weeks of vacation, five personal days, two floating days, sick days and 4% of annual income towards RRSP plan, and life, medical and dental care insurance.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop grant programs in close collaboration with team members.
Coordinate the internal team to develop processes for granting streams, ensuring compliance with policies and adherence to defined timelines.
Initiate calls for proposals, receive and review proposals, and support the decision-making process.
Draft and present funding recommendations.
Optimize and continuously evaluate the grant administration process for efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage your own timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery of grant programs.
Keep the team updated on progress and milestones by creating and maintaining tracking tools.
Monitor projects to ensure all project milestones and outcomes are met or exceeded, addressing any issues through troubleshooting and clear communication.
Support volunteers and external subject matter experts and advisors in decision-making, granting, and reporting.
Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and bring practical, implementable solutions to project challenges.
Keep abreast of relevant issues related to anti-racism, anti-hate, and granting.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, diversity, and creating inclusive environments.
Diploma in business administration, non-profit management, philanthropy, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of experience managing grant programs and working with grant applicants.
Working knowledge of grant regulations and best practices, funding agreements, and budgets.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Skilled in project management, planning, problem-solving, and reporting.
Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests and peak periods of work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and other digital tools and applications (Asana, Slack, Zoom).
Knowledge of community organizations and non-profit culture.
Bilingual (written and verbal) in French and English are essential.

La Fondation a pour mission de faciliter, dans l’ensemble du pays, le développement, le partage et la mise en œuvre de toute connaissance ou compétence utile en vue de contribuer à l’élimination du racisme et de toute forme de discrimination raciale au Canada.
La ou le gestionnaire des partenariats s’occupe de concevoir, développer et offrir des programmes de subventions à fort impact pour la FCRR. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, elle ou il supervise l’ensemble du cycle des subventions, depuis la rédaction des appels à propositions jusqu’à la réception des propositions et leur évaluation, et aide au processus décisionnel lié à l’attribution des subventions. La ou le gestionnaire des partenariats développe et optimise les processus d’octroi des subventions, prépare les rapports sur l’état d’avancement des projets et les rapports finaux, rédige des recommandations, veille au respect des conditions liées aux subventions, collabore avec l’équipe des services financiers pour la rédaction des contrats et le versement des paiements et forme le personnel sur les pratiques exemplaires en matière de politiques et de procédures liées aux subventions. 81 177 $ à 100 772 $ par année. La FCRR est un milieu de travail syndiqué et le poste de même que le salaire sont assujettis à une convention collective. La FCRR offre un régime complet d’avantages sociaux, comprenant trois semaines de vacances, cinq jours de congés pour motifs personnels, deux jours de congé mobiles, des jours de congé de maladie, 4 % du revenu annuel versé à un REER et une assurance vie comprenant une assurance invalidité et une couverture des soins médicaux et dentaires.

Responsabilités :
Concevoir et développer des programmes de subventions en étroite collaboration avec les membres de l’équipe.
Coordonner l’équipe interne lors de l’élaboration des processus d’octroi de subventions en s’assurant de leur conformité aux politiques et en respectant les échéanciers établis.
Lancer des appels de propositions, recevoir et examiner les propositions et aider au processus décisionnel lié à l’octroi des subventions.
Rédiger et présenter des recommandations en matière de financement.
Évaluer et améliorer en permanence l’efficacité et l’efficience de la gestion des demandes de subventions.
Gérer ses échéanciers et ses produits livrables afin de s’assurer que l’exécution des programmes de subvention se fait dans les délais prévus.
Créer des outils de suivi et les entretenir afin de tenir l’équipe informée des étapes qui ont été franchies et des progrès réalisés.
Surveiller les projets et répondre à tout problème en offrant son assistance et en communiquant clairement afin de s’assurer que toutes les étapes sont franchies et que les objectifs sont atteints ou dépassés.
Soutenir les bénévoles, les ressources externes et les conseillères et conseillers lors de la prise de décision, l’octroi des subventions et les différents rapports.
Fixer des échéances, déléguer des responsabilités et apporter des solutions pratiques et applicables aux problèmes liés aux projets.
Se tenir informé des questions pertinentes liées à l’octroi de subventions et à la lutte contre le racisme et la haine.
Compétences :
Engagement démontré envers la lutte contre le racisme, la diversité et les environnements de travail inclusifs.
Diplôme en administration commerciale, gestion d’organismes sans but lucratif, philanthropie, ou domaine connexe, ou une combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans la gestion de programmes de subventions et de travail avec des candidates et candidats à des subventions.
Connaissance pratique des règlements et des pratiques exemplaires liées à l’octroi de subventions, des ententes de financement et des budgets.
Compétences interpersonnelles attestées en communication, facilité à établir des relations et capacité à gérer plusieurs parties prenantes en interne comme à l’externe.
Compétences en gestion de projet, planification, résolution de problèmes et rapports.
Une personne dynamique, axée sur les résultats, et ayant la capacité à gérer plusieurs demandes émanant de parties prenantes en périodes de pointe.
Maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) et d’autres outils et applications numériques (Asana, Slack, Zoom).
Connaissance des organismes communautaires et de la culture des organismes à but non lucratif.
Le bilinguisme en français et en anglais (écrit et oral) constitue est essentielle.
