Here, everyone has a voice, everyone can be themselves, everyone is welcome. Motive are seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to join our Iron Man project being developed using Unreal Engine 5. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of AI features and systems in an innovative and collaborative environment.

What The Senior AI Developer Will Do At Motive

• Implement and enhance a variety of features relating to behaviours, navigation and core systems through collaboration with other software developers, game designers and animators.
• Participate in defining the architecture of foundational AI technology and associated performance targets
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to brainstorm solutions that further the game’s artistic and design vision
• Mentor other developers on the AI team and participate in design and code reviews
• Work closely with QV and technical leadership to ensure the stability, quality and performance of AI systems

Who You Are

• B.S. (or higher) degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years of professional C/C++ experience
• Experience developing AI systems on AAA games with at least one shipped title
• Strong teamwork skills but also the ability to take ownership and work independently
• Experience using Unreal Engine 4/5 is strongly preferred
• Prior leadership experience is desirable
• Passion for both developing and playing games
