This posting will be used to fill a 1-year term, anticipatory permanent position, working 75-hours bi-weekly. Temporary Assignments may be considered.

Who we are
The French Language Services Directorate (FLSD) is a team of twenty-five client-focused professionals dedicated to empowering departments to serve and inform Yukoners in French. We foster strong partnerships with other departments and stakeholders and offer centralized services such as translation, language support and language policy advice.
The Bilingual Communications Division supports government employees in informing, engaging with and promoting bilingual services to the public. We provide centralized and comprehensive translation services and manage government-wide social media channels and web presence in French.
The opportunity
The Bilingual Communications Division seeks a self-motivated and dynamic team player who enjoys connecting with others and building positive relationships. You will support your clients in other departments to inform and engage with Yukoners in French and access our centralized services (e.g., translation). Managing your client departments' online presence in French is also key to this role.

- Experience in providing communications advice and guidance.
- Experience in account management or client relations.
- The above experience within a government setting is an asset.
- Professional experience in social media management is an asset.
- Completion of post-secondary education in communications, marketing, project management or a related field is an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

L'équipe
La Direction des services en français est une équipe de 25 professionnelles et professionnels qui est attentive aux besoins de sa clientèle et aide les ministères à servir et à informer la population en français. Elle entretient des partenariats solides avec les ministères et les différentes parties prenantes et offre des services centralisés, notamment de traduction et de soutien linguistique, ainsi que des conseils stratégiques.
La Division des communications bilingues donne au personnel de la fonction publique les moyens de communiquer avec la population dans les deux langues ainsi que de l'informer des services bilingues offerts et d'en faire la promotion. Son offre de services centralisés comprend des services de traduction ainsi que la gestion des médias sociaux et de la présence Web en français pour tous les ministères.
Le poste
La Division des communications bilingues est à la recherche d'une personne motivée et dynamique qui aime travailler en équipe, tisser des liens avec les autres et bâtir des relations positives. Cette personne aidera sa clientèle des autres ministères à informer et à consulter la population en français ainsi qu'à accéder aux services centralisés de la Direction, notamment la traduction. La gestion de la présence en ligne en français de la clientèle est un élément clé du poste.
Ce poste conviendra à une personne qui souhaite faire partie d'une équipe en pleine croissance, est capable de travailler dans un milieu dynamique, a des normes professionnelles élevées, est curieuse et attentive aux détails, et privilégie la collaboration.
