Summary Responsible for supporting the development of and implementation of a facility-wide EHS culture through technical support, program development, and relationship building. Assist with the management of the plant Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) programs to ensure operations minimize the impact upon the environment and provide a safe and accident-free work environment.

• Ensure all facility staff receive appropriate environmental training
• Champion and support the EHSS Pillar Team, Green Team, and Sustainable Development Program
• Environmental audit and regulatory inspection preparation
• Prepare and implement corrective actions from the Environmental Review
• Participate in environmental audit process at other facilities
• Review ENV data/info to identify trends & potential areas for risk reduction, own ENV KPIs
• Communicate potential risks to facility operations leadership and corporate environmental leadership based on evaluation of ENV data

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Sciences (Engineering, Biology or Chemistry)
• 5 - 7 years progressive experience in the environmental/engineering field
• Strong knowledge of all environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry
• Good leadership, communication & presentation skills
• Experience with developing engineering scope for new equipment to fulfill compliance needs
