The ICMS application is specifically built to enhance regulatory enforcement oversight concerning both licensed and unlicensed childcare providers. It accurately tracks and monitors every aspect of investigations such as intake, inspection, investigation, prosecution, and trial.A modernization initiative was undertaken in line with the Government’s “Digital First” Agenda to deliver simpler, faster and better services. This will significantly improve the administration of licensed and unlicensed childcares. This initiative will be a key step towards improving safety standards in childcare facilities, covering regulated and unregulated settings throughout Ontario The investigation details for both licensed and unlicensed care providers be stored in an electronic database, offering immediate visibility into ongoing cases. This will continue to facilitate proactive decision-making and enables quicker responses to critical issues encountered in the field.The ICMS application undergoes regular enhancements & sustainment which includes sustaining the application, providing solutions for enhancements and remediating applications defects.
