DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

En tant que Designer Sénior.e UI/UX, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la définition et l’exécution de l’expérience visuelle et interactive d’un nouveau jeu mobile. Vous serez au cœur de la création d’interfaces immersives et intuitives, directement liées au gameplay (grilles, éléments interactifs, systèmes de merge/match, exploration), et non uniquement aux menus.

Fort.e d’une solide sensibilité artistique et d’une excellente compréhension de l’expérience utilisateur, vous contribuerez activement à orienter la direction artistique UI/UX du projet. Vous serez responsable de transformer des idées en expériences concrètes, en itérant rapidement à travers prototypes et tests.

Ce rôle est à la fois stratégique et hands-on, avec un fort impact sur l’identité visuelle, la lisibilité du gameplay et l’engagement des joueurs.

RESPONSABILITÉS 

UI/UX Gameplay & Expérience Interactive

• Concevoir des interfaces centrées sur le gameplay (grilles, systèmes de casual/puzzle, éléments interactifs, exploration)


• Définir des expériences utilisateur fluides et intuitives adaptées aux jeux casual/puzzle


• Créer des wireframes, flows utilisateurs et prototypes interactifs

Direction Artistique UI (contribution)

• Contribuer à la direction artistique UI/UX du projet et assurer la cohérence visuelle


• Benchmarker et analyser les tendances visuelles du marché pour proposer des styles pertinents et innovants


• Identifier et définir des identités visuelles fortes adaptées au produit

  Prototypage & Itération

• Transformer rapidement des concepts en prototypes testables


• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Game Design, Produit et LiveOps


• Adapter et perfectionner les interfaces selon les retours des joueurs et les données disponibles

Collaboration & Production

• Travailler étroitement avec les équipes Design, Programmation, Produit et Art


• Participer aux décisions de production liées au UX et à la lisibilité du gameplay


• Intégrer et optimiser les assets dans Unity en respectant les contraintes techniques mobile

Production Artistique

• Produire des éléments UI de haute qualité (HUD, éléments interactifs, pop-ups LiveOps, iconographie)


• Assurer la maintenance et l'évolution des guides de style et des bibliothèques d'interface


• Assurer la cohérence visuelle à travers toutes les features du jeu

QUALIFICATIONS

Expérience et connaissances

• 7 à 10 ans d’expérience en UI/UX dans le jeu vidéo mobile


• Expérience sur des jeux casual et/ou puzzle (match-3, merge, systèmes en grille)


• Expérience sur des projets avec licences (un atout important)


• Portfolio démontrant des interfaces gameplay interactives et une forte sensibilité visuelle

• Maîtrise de Unity (intégration UI)


• Excellente maîtrise de Photoshop et/ou outils graphiques équivalents


• Expérience avec Figma (wireframes, flows, prototypage)


• Connaissance en motion design / animation UI (un fort atout)

Compétences additionnelles

• Forte sensibilité artistique et capacité à influencer la direction visuelle UI


• Excellente compréhension des enjeux UX en free-to-play ( compréhension des flows d'offres IAP, minijeux, des passes de combat, des séquences de récompenses)


• Capacité à analyser les tendances du marché et à les traduire en solutions concrètes


• Approche orientée itération rapide et prototypage


• Polyvalence artistique et capacité à travailler dans différents styles


• Esprit collaboratif et communication efficace avec des équipes multidisciplinaires


• Autonomie, rigueur et sens du détail

• Comfort dans un environnement bilingue. Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais pour communiquer efficacement avec des équipes bilingues est un fort atout. 

Type de travail

• Rôle hybride nécessitant une présence au bureau 2 jours par semaine et lors de moments clés


• Les candidat·e·s doivent être basé·e·s au Québec et détenir un permis de travail valide au Canada


• Horaire : 40 heures/semaine, du lundi au vendredi (heures centrales : 10h à 16h)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in defining and executing the visual and interactive experience of a new mobile game. You will be at the heart of creating immersive and intuitive interfaces directly tied to gameplay (grids, interactive elements, puzzle/match systems, exploration), not just menus.

With strong artistic sensitivity and an excellent understanding of user experience, you will actively contribute to shaping the UI/UX artistic direction of the project. You will be responsible for transforming ideas into tangible experiences by rapidly iterating through prototypes and testing.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong impact on visual identity, gameplay readability, and player engagement.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

UI/UX Gameplay & Interactive Experience

• Design gameplay-driven interfaces (grids, casual/puzzle systems, interactive elements, exploration)


• Define smooth and intuitive user experiences tailored to casual/puzzle games Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes

UI Artistic Direction (contribution)

• Contribute to the UI/UX artistic direction of the project and ensure visual consistency


• Benchmark and analyze market visual trends to propose relevant and innovative styles


• Identify and define strong visual identities suited to the product

Prototyping & Iteration

• Quickly transform concepts into testable prototypes


• Work closely with Game Design, Product, and LiveOps teams


• Adapt and refine interfaces based on player feedback and available data

Collaboration & Production

• Work closely with Design, Programming, Product, and Art teams


• Participate in production decisions related to UX and gameplay readability


• Integrate and optimize assets in Unity while respecting mobile technical constraints

Art Production

• Produce high-quality UI elements (HUD, interactive elements, LiveOps pop-ups, iconography)


• Maintain and evolve style guides and UI libraries


• Ensure visual consistency across all game features

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Knowledge

• 7 to 10 years of UI/UX experience in mobile gaming


• Experience on casual and/or puzzle games (match-3, merge, grid-based systems)


• Experience on licensed projects (a strong asset)


• Portfolio demonstrating interactive gameplay interfaces and strong visual sensibility


• Proficiency in Unity (UI integration)


• Strong mastery of Photoshop and/or equivalent graphic tools


• Experience with Figma (wireframes, flows, prototyping)


• Knowledge of motion design / UI animation (a strong asset)

Additional Traits

• Strong artistic sensibility and ability to influence UI visual direction


• Excellent understanding of UX challenges in free-to-play (understanding of IAP offer flows, mini-games, battle passes, reward sequences)


• Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into concrete solutions


• Iterative, rapid prototyping mindset


• Artistic versatility and ability to work across different styles


• Collaborative mindset and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams


• Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail


• Comfort in a bilingual environment. Proficiency in both French and English to communicate effectively with bilingual teams is a strong asset

  Work Type

• Hybrid role requiring presence in the office 2 days per week and during key moments


• Candidates must be based in Quebec and hold a valid work permit in Canada


• Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (core hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
