Empower innovation at Beacon, a Toronto fintech, as an Engineering Manager. Apply hands-on expertise to lead a team and deliver exceptional software projects.
With a passion for fintech and strong technical foundation, you will own the complete software development lifecycle while mentoring a remote team. This role requires a self-driven manager who encourages autonomy and accountability within the engineering culture. Your contributions will directly impact the company's mission to enhance financial services for NRIs in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end software project lifecycle
• Lead and develop backend, frontend, and QA engineers
• Stay actively involved in coding, architecture, and debugging
• Collaborate effectively with Product and Design teams
• Ensure the security and reliability of production systems
Requirements:
• 7–8+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years in an engineering management role
• Strong skills in Go and/or Java programming
• Knowledge of AWS, SQL, and microservices
• Familiar with DevOps practices and AI tools
Lead transformative engineering efforts at Beacon and shape the future of financial technology.
