We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Director to join our team and support the ongoing success of our center.

: The Assistant Program Director will work closely with the Program Director to oversee the daily operations of the daycare, ensuring a safe, enriching, and supportive environment for children, families, and staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a deep passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the daycare center.

• Support the Program Director in implementing policies, procedures, and programs that promote high-quality care and education.

• Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain high standards of safety and hygiene.

• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, addressing concerns and providing excellent customer service.

• Assist in developing and implementing curriculum and educational programs.

• Manage administrative tasks

• Coordinate with the Program Director on budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.

• Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the center.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a childcare setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

• Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 3 certification.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

• Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passionate about early childhood education and committed to the well-being and development of children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$31.62 per hour
