Operational Training Advisor At Ssr Mining Facility Saskatoon
SSR Mining
Become an Operational Training Advisor at SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan. This critical role advances safety training and operational excellence within a respected gold mining facility.
You will report to the Superintendent of Safety & Training, guiding the development and implementation of training programs tailored to site personnel in mill operations. Your focus will include mentoring team members, enhancing safety practices, and continuously improving training methodologies to achieve operational successes.
Key Responsibilities Assess and mentor personnel on training needs
Develop safety and operational training programs
Promote adherence to all safety procedures
Design and facilitate training workshops for employees
Collaborate to drive improvements in safety standards
Requirements Minimum five years’ experience in heavy equipment operations
Proven background in mining or milling training
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in agile environments
Mine Rescue certification is advantageous
Make a significant contribution to safety and training at SSR Mining, fostering a culture of excellence and preparedness in all operations.
